As part of its expansion plans, eXtra, the GCC region's most popular electronics store, has recently opened its third store in Oman in Sohar, conveniently located opposite Safeer Mall.
Shamsi was the chief guest. Also present were a host of dignitaries, guests and customers. As part of the celebrations, Oman's singing sensation, Haitham Rafi, enthralled the audience with a superlative performance. Speaking on the occasion of the launch of the new store in Sohar, Mohamed Galal, managing director and chief executive officer, eXtra (United Electronics Company), said, 'We started in 2003 in Saudi Arabia, became a public listed entity in 2011, and currently are the market leaders. Our turnover is about 5bn Saudi riyal, and Oman was the first market that we expanded to in 2013.'
