(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) KUWAIT, Sept 2 (KUNA) -- Minister of Education and Minister of Higher Education Dr. Hamed Al-Azmi stressed Monday ministry's keenness to support talented students and encourage them to participate in local and international competitions.
In a statement, Al-Azmi congratulated the winners of the "International Earth Science Olympiad" IESO 2019 held in South Korea, praising students' high abilities that enable them in competing at all levels.
He also hailed the achievements of the Kuwaiti delegation that participated in the competition, wishing them further progress and success.
Meanwhile, the Ministry of Education announced earlier that the Kuwaiti students won five medals, two silver and three bronze ones, at the IESO 2019, as the minister said that the IESO witnessed a strong competitions during which the Kuwaiti team participated. (end)
