Top Global to spend USD170m on properties

(MENAFN) 23 freehold commercial strata-titled lots with 43 property addresses in Thong Teck Building to be bought for USD170 million by the Mainboard-listed property group Top Global.

The properties contains 39 office units along with four retail units placed within the nine-floors Thong Teck Building on 15 Scotts Road, that was built back in the mid 70's and upgraded again in 2014.

The Business Times had announced in May, that Top Global would buy a bunch of offices and retail spaces from entities that Kenneth Low Si Ren, executive director of Allied Technologies, is taught to be in control of in April from the founder of RSP Architects Planners and Engineers' Albert Hong.

After the Business times report, Top Global replied late in May, that it had been an assumed privilege to buy the strata units, but was "still evaluating the market conditions" in relation to the privilege.
