(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) Aqaba, August 28 (Petra)-The Jordan Phosphate Mines Company (JPMC) set a new record with an export shipment totalling 79,400 tonnes to India.
JPMC Chairman, Mohammad Thneibat, said the largest shipment raised the volume of the company's phosphate exports to India during the current month to 414 thousand tons.
Since JPMC's inception, he noted this shipment is the largest in the company's history, and was loaded in a one-day record time on a shipping vessel at Aqaba port.
