(MENAFN) On Sunday, UK's Prime Minister Boris Johnson reviewed alongside U.S. President Trump ties between their countries during the G7 summit held in France.
Prime Minister Johnson noted: "this morning I met with @POTUS at the #G7 Summit. We discussed the special relationship between our two countries. #G7Biarritz #TeamUK."
Meanwhile, Trump voiced his expectation of a "very big" agreement between the two countries post-Brexit.
"We are going to do a very big trade deal, bigger than we have ever had with the U.K. and now at some point they won't have the obstacle, they won't have the anchor around their ankle because that's what they have," Trump affirmed.
