Saudi equities decline for 3rd consecutive session

(MENAFN) On Sunday, Saudi Arabia's equities were struck with a decline for the third session in a row in the middle of intensified trade tensions between China and the United States.

Saudi benchmark Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) stood at 8,217 points on Sunday, decreasing by 2.1 percent, or 175 points.

Meanwhile, SABIC registered a 2 percent drop and Al Rajhi reported a plunge by 1.7 percent during the session.

"With ongoing trade war, oil will likely trend further lower and this will be having a higher impact as you see even today," an expert suggested.
