(MENAFN) An army statement released said on Sunday that, at least five militants have been killed as security forces started cleanup processes in Shindand district of Afghanistan's western Herat region on Saturday.
The statement said that, two more militants have been wounded in the processes.
The statement also mentioned that, the operations will continue until the militants are wiped out from the troubled region.
Taliban militants didn't say anything yet.
