(MENAFN) By the first quarter of 2020, two new stores for furniture giant Ikea are planned for inauguration in South Korea, one in Giheung and another in Busan.
IKEA Korea is also working on another project to establish smaller stores in downtown Seoul along with reinforcing accessibility for city dwellers next year.
CEO of Ikea Korea confirmed that "we are trying to fulfill customers' needs in today's urbanized world and are testing new formats throughout the world."
From September last year to this month, IKEA registered a 5 percent surge on annual basis in its sales in South Korea to stand at USD417.5 million.
