KUWAIT CITY, Aug 24: Customs officers at Kuwait International Airport foiled four attempts to smuggle drugs in the past few days. Member of the Customs Media Committee Nawaf Al-Mutairi said a customs inspector suspected a female passenger from a European country. He noticed that she looked agitated upon entering the customs area. Upon checking her luggage, he found 19 mushrooms mixed with drugs, says Al-Seyassah.
Meanwhile, a passenger from another European country was found to be in possession of an undisclosed quantity of drugs. On the other hand, some rolls of hashish were found in the luggage of An Arab man who came from his home country.
Also, a European was arrested for the possession of cigarettes containing marijuana. All four passengers were referred to the concerned security department for questioning and other legal measures.
