(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) KUWAIT, Aug 24 (KUNA) -- The Youth Public Authority announced Saturday the start of registration for the (My Hobbies 2) project to start on Sunday.
The project, organized by the authority for the second year in a row, aims for youths between ages of 17 and 35 and can accommodate more than 500 young men and women in its various activities, said director of recreational activities at the Ministry of Youth Affairs Abdullah Al-Adwani.
Al-Adwani added that some workshops will be held at youth centers, while others will be held in other places according to the requirements of the courses.
The training course covers sports, cultural, artistic and scientific fields and will continue throughout the month, he noted.
He explained that the project aims to invest in the leisure time of youth and find suitable spaces to practice their favorite hobbies and develop skills in them.
Al-Adwani called on all Kuwaiti youth to register for these courses, which are free of charge through the website (www.ypa.gov.kw), pointing out that 450 young men and women benefited from the first (My Hobbies) project last year and were awarded certificates. (end)
