(MENAFN- Saudi Press Agency) Riyadh, August 24, 2019, SPA -- Saudi newspapers highlighted in their editorials today a number of issues at local, regional and international arenas.
Al-Riyadh newspaper said in its editorial that the aggressive acts are repeatedly committed against Saudi tourists in Turkish cities have become very frightening as the case of kidnapping of the Saudi woman tourist in Istanbul, Turkey has indicated that what is occuring in this country raises a real concern to be taken into account while choosing the tourist destination carefully.
The paper added that the Saudi Embassy in Turkey issued several warnings in a short period, which give a clear indication that the matter is very serious and must be warned.
On another issue, Al-Yaum newspaper said in its editorial that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's speech before the Security Council's session held under the title 'Maintaining international peace and security and challenges standing against achieving peace and security in the Middle East" has indicated its firm principles along with its absolute commitment to the principles of the international law and its respect for all UN binding resolutions for achieving international peace and security, defusing tensions from all their sources and calling for peace, security and stability within human societies.
Concerning Iran, the paper highlighted its hostile acts which pose a serious threat to the security of the Middle East region through its blatant interference in the internal affairs of the countries of the region in addition to the Iranian support for terrorist organizations that continue in bringing instability, corruption and destruction in many of these countries.
