Official Moroccan news agency MAP reported that Spain on Friday offered USD35.89 million to Morocco to help the country in curbing irregular migration.
The aid follows a police cooperation agreement between the two countries to put an end to migrants from entering Europe illegally by going through the Mediterranean Sea towards Spain.
On 5th of July, Spain approved a USD29.23 million donation to help Morocco in strengthen control over its borders.
The money was used to buy material and equipment including 750 vehicles, 15 drones and dozens of scanners and radars.
