Bangladesh- BAS, CEE jointly holds seminar on 'Ethics in Scientific Research'


(MENAFN- Bangladesh Monitor) Dhaka: Bangladesh Academy of Sciences (BAS) and Center for Ethics Education (CEE) jointly organised a seminar on 'Ethics in Scientific Research' at the auditorium of National Museum of Science and Technology, Agargaon on March 4.
Qazi Abdul Fattah, President of Bangladesh Academy of Sciences attended the seminar as Chief Guest.
Professor Dr. M Ataul Karim, Expatriate Fellow of Bangladesh Academy of Sciences presented the article on "Ethics in Scientific Research". An article on 'Ethics in Agricultural research' was presented by Prof. Dr. M A Rahim, Department of Horticulture, Bangladesh Agriculture University, Mymensingh. Dr. Firdausi Qadri, Fellow, BAS and Emeritus Scientist, icddr,b presented an article on the topic 'Ethics in Medical Research'.
The seminar was chaired by Professor Dr. Naeem Chowdhury, Vice President of Bangladesh Academy of Science. Kazi Ali Reza, CEO of Center for Ethics Education (CEE), presented the introduction of the Center for Ethics Education (CEE).
The program was facilitated by Professor Mesbahuddin Ahmed, Secretary of Bangladesh Academy of Science. Dr Mizanur Rahman, Chairman of former Human Rights Commission and Director of CEE was also present in the program.
