(MENAFN) On Tuesday, Turkey's National Defense Ministry stated that Turkish warplanes neutralized five PKK terrorists during anti-terror raid in northern Iraq.
The ministry affirmed on Twitter that the air attack was conducted in Metina region in collaboration with the continuing Operation Claw.
The raid also resulted in a complete damage for weapon emplacements and shelters used by PKK terrorists, it added.
Turkish government frequently uses the word "neutralize" in statements to indicate that the terrorists in question surrendered or were murdered or arrested.
