Russia's gross domestic product (GDP) growth has increased 1.7 percent in July compared with 0.8 percent in June mainly on industrial growth, The Russian Economic Development Ministry estimated.
The yearly GDP growth in the starting 7 months of the current year was still the same at 0.9 percent.
The ministry said that "Economic statistics for July indicate a recovery in economic growth after weak dynamics in the first half of the year".
A considerable positive contribution to the growth in the GDP rate of 0.5 percent in July was by industrial production, which posed a steady growth for 2 months.
