Chinese Shibor bank rate increase

The overnight Shanghai Interbank Offered Rate (Shibor) increased 0.1 basis points on Monday to 2.666 percent.

The daily Shibor decreased 0.1 basis points to 2.672 percent. The monthly rate went up 0.3 basis points to 2.656 percent, and the yearly rate dropped 0.35 basis points to 3.074 percent.

Shibor is a straightforward, unguaranteed, wholesale interest rate evaluated by arithmetically averaging all the interbank RMB lending rates offered by the price quotation group that consists of 18 commercial banks with a high credit rating.
