Online gun traders arrested in China

16 gang members were arrest in Chongqing Municipality in southwest China for creating and trading guns online, according to Xinhua.

Chongqing Municipal Public Security Bureau said that 7 guns were apprehended along with 2,553 bullets and a huge amount of gun parts during a cross-province operation.

The group has drawn the police attention back in January 2019, an investigation has showed that the group was organized and led by a suspected going with the last name Zheng, the gang has been selling guns online in over 10 districts and cities.

The police have captured a group member with the last name Qin in Chongqing on the 4th of January, apprehending 3 guns and 1,876 bullets and gun parts. The leader of the group was soon arrested in the province of Zhejiang, and the remaining members were captured in south Guangdong and northeast Heilongjiang Province
