Tourists wounded in traffic crash in Moscow

Russian police said that a bus loaded with 30 Chinese tourists, a tour guide and an organizer has crashed into a utility pole in the eastern part of Moscow on Sunday leaving 11 people injured, according to Xinhua.

It was shown on surveillance camera footage that the accident occurred as the bus turned right quickly to avoid cars waiting for the traffic light at an intersection, then hit the utility pole which damaged the windscreen.

The wounded tourists were transported to a hospital to receive treatment, one tourist suffered a nasal fracture and another had a cerebral concussion, the remaining injured suffered bruises.

The wounded passengers did not fasten their seat belts when the crash happened.
