(MENAFN- KNN India) Problem of delayed payment is a big headache for MSMEs: Gadkari
New Delhi, Aug 19 (KNN) Union Minister for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME), Nitin Gadkari has promised to take some concrete decision on the problem of delayed payment faced by MSMEs.
Speaking at a convention of 'Laghu Udyog Bharti', Gadkari said, 'Delayed payment is a major headache for MSMEs.
Adding that he stressed on nees to find a solution to this issue, he stated that the small scale industry producer never gets payments on time. And this tires and finishes him.
'I am seriously thinking, whether it is private or public sector or government, the payment of MSME should get released in 45 days, and I am trying to take some concrete decision on this," he added.
So far, MSMEs have given jobs to 11.50 crore youths, and in these five years I am aiming to add five crore more employment opportunities, he emphasized.
Expressing concern about the agrarian crisis, he said the MSME ministry is also focusing on handloom, handicrafts and agro processing industries.
He also promised to get the national capital rid of pollution in five years.
Promoting entrepreneurship is an important mission of the government, as without it we cannot become 5 trillion dollar economy, said Gadkari.
