The Municipality of Al Shamal, represented by hygiene section of the Department of Services Affairs, conducted a number of services by cleaning various public facilities within the boundary of Al Shamal Municipality.
The hygiene campaign took place during July 2019 in which the Department responded to 158 applications for insect and rodent control and 60 manholes. In addition, the Department provided some commercial establishments and residential complexes with 30 containers and removed 65 dead animals.
A total of 623 sewage drainage transfers were also carried out at the municipality's borders.
