Libya rescues 57 refugees

57 refugees have been saved off the Libya's western coast, navy spokesman Ayob Qassem said on Sunday, according to Xinhua.

He said that "A coast guards patrol received a report and rescued 57 migrants on a wooden boat, including 17 women and 9 children".

The refugees were saved around 40 miles away from the coast of Zuwara city, 120 km west of Tripoli capital of Libya.

He also said that the rescued immigrants are of Arab and African nationalities.
