Mumbai police said that 13 people were killed and 20 others wounded as a trailer crashed into a bus in Maharashtra state in India around 391 km away from Mumbai on 10:30 p.m. of local time on Sunday night, according to Xinhua.
11 of the wounded had serious injuries and remain in critical condition, the affected were transported to a hospital.
Both the drivers of the vehicles were among the dead in the accident as the collision was head on.
The bus was boarded by 45 passengers and it was heading to the city of Aurangabad from Shahada town in Maharashtra state.
