(MENAFN) Iran registered during the seventh month of this year an USD1.77 hike in heavy oil prices, as showed a report that OPEC issues.
By July, heavy crude oil price stood at USD62.65 per barrels to mark a boost by 2.9 percent from the USD60.88 per barrel recorded a month earlier.
Production of oil in Iran during the month reached 2.213 million barrels per day (bpd) to reflect a decline by 47,000 bpd compared to June's 2.260 million bpd.
OPEC's report further unveiled that the average Iranian crude production hit 2.407 million barrels per day during the second quarter to mark a drop by around 318,000 bpd on quarterly basis.
