4 trafficking attempts blocked in Lebanon

Lebanese National News Agency said that customs officials blocked on Saturday four trafficking operations on the Aboudiya crossing border in the north part of Lebanon, according to Xinhua.

Traffickers were trying to smuggle medicines, tobacco, detergents and vegetables into Lebanon.

The smuggled items were transferred to judicial bodies under the charge of money laundering.

The country's government has been taking strict measures to control the borders and stop trafficking to protect the economy.
