(MENAFN) On Friday, the Interior Ministry stated that Turkish security forces managed to neutralize as many as two terrorists in the nation's southeastern Hakkari province.
Turkish government frequently uses the term "neutralized" in their statements to indicate that the terrorists in question either surrendered or were murdered or arrested.
The ministry emphasized on Twitter that the terrorists were "neutralized" during internal security operations carried out by the provincial Gendarmerie Command in Kirikdag district.
It added that the operations are still continuing in the area.
