4.6 percent surge in Ukrainian economic growth


(MENAFN) From April to June 2019, Ukraine registered a 4.6 percent jump in its real gross domestic product (GDP) growth on annual basis.

Ukraine's Ministry of Economic Development and Trade revealed that "the Ukrainian economy is growing at an accelerated pace. In the second quarter of 2019, Ukraine's GDP grew by 4.6 percent."

Based on the Ukrainian state statistics service, this figure is considered as the highest to be witnessed in two years and a half.

During the first quarter of this year, the Ukrainian GDP growth surged by 2.5 percent from figures seen during the same period in 2018.
