(MENAFN- Colombo Gazette) The Government is to expedite development projects in the Vanni, Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe said today.
Speaking at an event in Vavuniya, the Prime Minister said that development projects undertaken by the Government in the Vanni District will be taken forward.
He said that special steps will be taken in the near future to take the projects forward.
The Prime Minister was speaking at the opening of an emergency unit at the Vavuniya General Hospital today.
