Katara visitors were very satisfied of the events and activities on the second day of Eid Al Adha, one of which was the distribution of gifts to Katara's young visitors. Elham,m one of the visitors, expressed her admiration for Katara's tradition of giving away Eid gifts.
'All children get Eid gift from their parents, but when they get it from entertainment places, the gift takes on a special impact on them, no matter how simple the gift is. The gift becomes symbolic and is associated with the place in a positive way, she said. The gifts are distributed from 9pm to 9.30pm at the Esplanade until tomorrow. Due to the huge turnout at the musical performance offered by the Police Training Institute, it has been decided to have two performances every night.
The special play area where giant bouncy castles are located also witnessed many children and families.
Katara beach also attracted hundreds of families who took advantage of the facilities and rides.
People still have today and tomorrow to enjoy Eid festivities at Katara which run from 5pm to 10pm.
