(MENAFN) Seven people wwere affirmed murdered and 11 more wounded after a road accident in Nigeria's northern state of Jigawa, local police stated on Monday.
On Sunday, two saloon cars had a head-on collision in Maigatari local government area of the state, with the 7 victims killed directly, emphasized Abdu Jinjiri, a spokesman for the state police.
Jinjiri affirmed that two drivers and nine others sustained wounds as a result of the accident.
According to him, one of the drivers had lost control and crossed the opposite lane where it had the head-on collision with an oncoming vehicle.
