Moroccan 2020 GDP growth likely at 3.7 percent


(MENAFN) Morocco is expected to achieve a 3.7 percent economic growth by next year, as the country managed to enjoy a reinforced performance.

Official newspaper Le Matin revealed the forecast which was announced during the weekly cabinet meeting in Morocco.

Such a figure is a sharp improvement compared to the projection of a 2.9 percent economic growth for this year.

It comes as the Moroccan government set a target to keep 3 percent as the rate of the budget deficit considering future growth expectations.
