Jordan- North Korea says it launched new tactical guided weapon in warning to South Korea

(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) Amman, July 26 (Petra)-- North Korean state-run media reported Friday that the country fired its "new tactical guided weapon" in a "solemn warning" to "South Korean military warmongers."
South Korean officials said North Korea launched two short-range missiles, described as "a new kind of short-range ballistic missile," on Thursday from an area near Wonsan on the eastern coast.
While North Korea has launched missiles and other projectiles before -- most recently in May -- Thursday's launch was the first since President Trump met North Korean leader Kim Jong Un at the Demilitarized Zone at the end of June.
