(MENAFN) Bangladesh added USD248 million into its foreign direct investment (FDI) to stand at USD3,837 in its gross inflows from July 2018 to June 2019.
Official data revealed that Bangladesh marked a significant 32.91 percent surge in its gross FDI inflows on annual basis.
According to the Bangladesh Bank (BB), net FDI inflows reached USD2,067 million during the eleven-month period from the previous USD1,925 million.
BB further added that FDI inflow into the country hit an overall of USD3.6 billion by the end of last year to reflect a jump by 68 percent year-on-year.
