(MENAFN) Morocco receives over USD33M from Spain to control illegal immigration process.

On Friday, the Spanish government decided to provide Morocco with USD33 million in order to support Morocco's efforts in reducing the irregular immigrations into Europe.

The grant comes besides vowed currently by the European Union to support undocumented immigration, emphasized the Moroccan news website Le360.
Collaboration between Morocco and Spain has played a significant role in in this year's nearly 27-percent drop in illegal immigration, it added quoting the Spanish Interior Ministry statistics.

Couple of weeks ago, Spain signed another grant of 26 million euros to purchase and deliver Morocco 750 vehicles, drones, scanners, radars and technical equipment for border protection.
