Morocco granted USD56m AFD loan


(MENAFN) The Moroccan Airports Authority (ONDA) was announced to be receiving a loan worth USD56 million aimed at enhancing aviation safety.

ONDA is being granted the loan from the French Development Agency (AFD) under a deal secured between the two sides in Rabat.

Another agreement for a 400,000 euros grant was also sealed between ONDA and AFD, as they look to enhance airport security and energy efficiency steps.

Based on a statement, this loan is assured to contribute in pushing Morocco reach its goal to lessen energy use at airports along with slowly launching renewable energies.
