Arab information ministers call for advancing media


(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) Cairo, July 17 (Petra) -- Arab information ministers have called for advancing the Arab media landscape by pursuing a bigger footprint in international forums and supporting a pan-Arab media strategy.
Speaking at the opening of the 50th Ordinary Session of the Council of Arab Information Ministers in Cairo on Wednesday, Saudi Arabia's Media Minister Turki Abdullah Al-Shabanah highlighted the important role Arab media outlets play in exposing terror funders and supporters.
The meeting discussed many issues related to the Arab media, top of which is the Palestinian cause that is the Arab world's foremost priority.
