Deadly Glider crash in France


(MENAFN) Le Figaro newspaper reported on Wednesday that, two people died after their glider crashed on Tuesday evening in Alpes-de-Haute-Provence department in southeastern France.


A two-seater glider which took off from the Sisteron-Vaumeilh airfield crashed at a height of about 1,200 in a forest area in Valernes, the cause of the crash has not been recognized yet.


According to the report, a pilot of Belgian origin aged 64 and a 67 year old Dutchman died in the incident.
