Saudi- Minister of Hajj: Hajj is an act of worship not a place for discrimination or incitement


(MENAFN- Saudi Press Agency) Jeddah, July 17,2019,SPA-- Minister of Hajj and Umrah Dr. Mohammad Saleh bin Taher Benten has commended the call of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to all Pilgrims to dedicate their time to perform Hajj rituals, be considerate to their fellow pilgrims, feelthe spirituality of the places and distance themselves from all of what stain the serenity and tranquility of Hajj by hoisting sectarian or political slogans.
He reaffirmed thatthat the Kingdom will not tolerate such conducts disturbing Hajj rituals, will take necessary measures to prevent such acts and apply the relevant laws and regulations.
Hajj is an opportunity for closer connections and cohesion andunity of Muslims. It is not a place for political or sectarian arguments nor discrimination or incitement.
He reiterated the significance of Hajj, the fifth pillar of Islam as Allah said, "Let there be no obscenity, nor wickedness, nor wrangling in the Hajj", he added
