(MENAFN) On Monday, Egyptian President Abdel-Fattah al-Sisi emphasized that enhancing trade and investment relations with the United States would help in pushing to joint action at all levels.
Al-Sisi's comments came during his meeting in the capital Cairo with Myron Brilliant, executive U.S. vice president and head of International Affairs at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce.
According to a statement by Bassam Rady, al-Sisi's spokesman, the Egyptian President also affirmed the significant role played by the private sector in deepening the Egyptian-U.S. relations by enhancing investments, transferring knowledge and expertise and increasing trade exchange to serve the mutual interests of the two nations.
Brilliant, for his part, underlined the significance of strategic ties between both nations, especially at the economic and investment levels.
