(MENAFN- Colombo Gazette) The Police have arrested a suspect who had given a false alert to the Police claiming there was an attempt to attack Parliament.
The suspect had contacted the Police Emergency unit on 119 claiming there was a plot to attack Parliament.
Investigations revealed that the claim was baseless and the suspect was later arrested in Ella.
