Qatar- Joaan bin Jassim Joint Command and Staff College holds graduation ceremony

Doha: Joaan bin Jassim Joint Command and Staff College celebrated yesterday the graduation of the Joint Operations Course No. (1) and the Joint Command and Staff Course No. (5), at the headquarters of Ahmed bin Mohammed Military College in the presence of Chief of Staff of the Qatari Armed Forces H E Lieutenant-General (Pilot) Ghanem bin Shaheen Al Ghanem.

The first edition of the Joint Operations Course was held at the state level and lasted for 43 weeks, involving 17 officers. Each graduate received a master's degree in strategic and management sciences.
The participants in this course are senior officers from various units of the Qatari Armed Forces. Future editions may include officers from brotherly and friendly countries.

Meanwhile, the Joint Command and Staff Course No. (5), which kicked off in September and lasted for 11 months, included 32 officers from different military bodies in the state, 22 officers from Kuwait and 4 officers from Oman.

The Director of Specialised Studies at Joaan bin Jassim Joint Command and Staff College, Brig. Gen. (Pilot) Mohammed Hamad Fetais Al Marri, extended thanks to the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Defence Affairs, H E Dr. Khalid bin Mohammed Al Attiyah; Chief of Staff of the Qatari Armed Forces, H E Lieutenant-General (Pilot) Ghanem bin Shaheen Al Ghanem, and Deputy Chief of Staff for Education and Training, Maj. Gen. Mohammed bin Hamad Al Nuaimi, for their unlimited support which contributes directly to the development of officers of the Armed Forces, thus increasing their readiness for facing the challenges ahead.
