(MENAFN - Editorial) Amman – July 2019: The St. Regis Amman is proud to announce holding its very first media event, in celebration of its opening in the heart of the capital and in recognition of the media’s role, with the aim to engage and establish good relations. The St. Regis Amman invited journalists and representatives of Jordanian media, to an interactive visit where they were introduced to the hotel to experience many touch points at the newly opened; The St. Regis Amman.
Upon arrival, media was welcomed by the General Manager of the St. Regis Amman; Mr. Erden Kendigelen, along with the hotel management team, who were happy to introduce themselves and the hotel as the flagship of the St. Regis brand in Jordan. In his speech, Erden expressed his sincere appreciation to media for their partnership and the support they showed to the hotel since its inception and invited them to discover and enjoy the St. Regis legacy.
The St. Regis team took media for an introductory site inspection, to present the amazing facilities and state of the art interiors of the hotel, where they explored the Tea Lounge, the St. Regis Bar, the exercise room, the outdoor pool, The Library, the guestrooms, The Astor Ballroom and the spacious meeting rooms, and of course the unique F&B outlets at the hotel.
Afterwards, media were escorted to have lunch at “Mercado Andaluz”; the first Spanish restaurant in the city that offers Andalusian cuisine. Chef Juan Sobero took the initiative to narrate the story behind the creative menu items using Mediterranean ingredients and premium homegrown local organic produce, exclusively sourced for The St. Regis Amman and showcased in an exceptional and elegant style. Original dishes were presented to media, where they enjoyed networking with each other and the St. Regis management team.
On hosting media in this one of a kind event, Erden expressed: “We are excited about the debut of The St. Regis Amman as we aim to bring the most exquisite experience to the city, and we are proud that Jordanian media shared this excitement with us through this introductory event. The event was complemented by showcasing the brand’s signature Afternoon Tea ritual at the St. Regis Tea Lounge, featuring the Whittard tea; exclusively available at The St. Regis Amman, a wide variety of the menu’s favorites as well as international delicacies.
