(MENAFN) Uzbekistan's state-owned company Uzbekneftegaz will export 15 billion cubic meters of gas this year, a 15-percent rise from 2018, as they said on Friday.
According to Uzbekneftegaz Chairman Bahodirjon Sidikov China, Russia and Kazakhstan are main importers of Uzbek gas. He also confirmed on local media that, with the availability of assets, we have the opportunity to talk with our partners to increase supplies.
The information exposed by Sidikov was secret information for decades in the mineral-rich Central Asian state.
Uzbekistan's yearly gas production stands around 61 billion cubic meters, of which 39 billion cubic meters are consumed domestically.
