TheEPF-6P.3-NFK explosion proof electric fanis rated for use in Class I, Division 1, Groups C and D; Class II, Division 1, Groups E, F and G hazardous locations. At start up, this unit's motor draws on 6.9 amps and when at operational speed the motor draws on a constant 2.5 amps. This unit features a 1/3 HP electric motor that runs from standard 115V AC single-phase 60Hz and pulls 2.5 amps. The ambient temperature rating for this fan is -20˚F to 180˚F
Larson Electronics' explosion proof fan includes a prewired explosion proof switch, dual grounding lugs on the steel housing, and 10 feet of cord fitted with flying leads. The body is made of powder coated steel with a non-sparking aluminum blower wheel and rubber coated base feet. This unit features an integrated carrying handle and includes a built-in automatic reset thermal overload. This fan is suitable for use in hazardous industrial and commercial settings.
