Activities of Salalah Tourism Festival 2019 will kick off on Thursday and will continue till August 22. The festival includes a range of religious, economic, cultural, social, sports, arts and recreational events.
The organising committee of the festival announced that registration for the shooting competition will be open from July 11 to 25 via the link sll-fes-shooting.com and the competition will begin on July 27.
The competition has three categories. Competitors born before 1959 can contest in the over 60 category while youngsters born between 2004 and 2011 can compete in another category. The third category is for those who were born before 2003.
As per the survey conducted by the National Centre for Statistics and Information, 37,049 visitors reached Salalah till the end of July 7.
It is a 51.6 per cent decline on last year's figures of 76,599 for the same period.
