SJC, Qatar Post sign pact on delivering legal documents
(MENAFN- The Peninsula) QNADoha: The Supreme Judiciary Council (SJC) and Qatar Post signed an agreement to access information and data to use it in legal documents it serves.
The agreement will see both sides cooperate in using information and details of the delivery of legal documents served by the council and for Qatar Post to provide all necessary means to develop and improve these services.
President of Court of First Instance Judge Ayedh bin Saad Al Qahtani said that the agreement will contribute to improving the process of serving legal documents quickly and accurately, through the optimal use of data provided by Qatar Post.
Al Qahtani praised the cooperation with Qatar Post. He stressed that combined efforts between government and semi-government institutions will lead to the development of all sectors of the country and achieve the desired goal of providing high quality services to all beneficiaries of these services.
He added that the council has been working for a while on developing all the services it provides including updating electronic services on an ongoing basis while innovating modern services that serve the council's customers, achieves accelerated justice and speeds up litigation procedures.
The Chairman and Managing Director of Qatar Post, Faleh Mohammed Al Nuaimi, said the agreement comes as part of the efforts made by all State sectors to develop and accelerate their services and to keep up with the developments seen in all fields in Qatar.
