Zimbabwe to receive more electricity from Mozambique

(MENAFN) Zimbabwean President Emmerson Mnangagwa announced that the country is set to receive more electricity from Mozambique's Cahora Bassa.

Mozambique President Filipe Nyusi affirmed while speaking to Mnangagwa the country's readiness to deliver an increased amount of power to Zimbabwe.

Both leaders, during a meeting, reached an agreement on Mozambique extending more energy to Zimbabwe.

Mnangagwa stated: "my minister will go to Mozambique. I discussed with the President of Mozambique, Nyusi, my brother, and they are ready for us to discuss the issue so that they can also increase the supply of energy from Cahora Bassa to Zimbabwe on terms which are comfortable to us."
