(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) Amman, July 7 (Petra) -- Interior Minister Salameh Hammad on Sunday discussed with the French Ambassador in Amman David Bertolotti, means to boost bilateral cooperation especially in the security field.
The meeting tackled the Syrian crisis and its negative impact on the local, regional, and international levels.
Hammad highlighted the "historic and robust" bilateral ties especially in the security, capacity building, combating terrorism, exchanging expertise, and training programs areas.
He noted that the Kingdom is looking to expand its partnership with countries around the world.
Bertolotti underlined the deep-rooted and historic ties between Jordan and France, and the advanced level of bilateral cooperation in various fields, expressing his country's keenness to develop relations in a way that serves common interests.
