(MENAFN- The Peninsula) QNADoha: The Ministry of Foreign Affairs organised an open discussion session yesterday with the United Nations Alliance of Civilisations (AOC) delegation, currently visiting the country. The delegation includes participants from Europe and North America.
The Spokesperson for the Ministry H E Lulwa Rashid Al Khater addressed the discussion.
It dealt with the foreign policy of Qatar, the developments in the region and the progress made by the State in the field of human rights. The delegation arrived in Qatar on July 5 for a visit till 10, as part of the United Nations 2019 fellowship programme entitled 'The role of women in peacemaking and conflict prevention.
