Oman- General Education Diploma results to be announced on Thursday, says MoE

The General Education Diploma 2018-19 (Grade 12) results will be announced on Thursday, the Ministry of Education (MoE) has said.


MoE announced via Twitter that H E Dr Madeeha bint Ahmed bin Nasser al Shaibaniyah, Minister of Education, has approved the General Education Diploma 2018-19 results.
The ministry has said that the results will be available on Thursday (July 4) from 4pm through SMS on Omantel and Ooredoo.
The results will also be available later on the Oman Educational Portal.

MoE has said that 41,978 students appeared in the General Education Diploma regular course this year and the success rate was 83.82 per cent. The success rate in the General Education Diploma for private schools (bilingual) was 93.17 per cent in which 1,190 students appeared.

The success rate was 100 per cent for the General Education Diploma course of the Royal Guard of Oman Technical College (bilingual) in which 37 students appeared. As many as 198 students appeared in the General Education Diploma in Islamic Sciences and the success rate was 100 per cent. The success rate in the General Education Diploma (private) was 100 per cent in which 42 students appeared.

The ministry also announced that students can apply for revaluation of the examination papers from July 7-11.
