(MENAFN) Petroleum Development Oman (PDO) declared the launch of gas generation operations for the Rabab Harweel Integrated Project (RHIP).
RHIP is an integrated oil and gas development project that was established across the Rabab and Harweel reservoirs in southern Oman.
Managing Director of PDO Raoul Restucci confirmed that production rolled out in RHIP earlier than planned and well below the anticipated budget.
Restucci affirmed that the investment returns are "substantial and robust at low oil prices."
PDO Project Delivery Manager Shihab Al Barwani further stated: "the start-up of RHIP marks a significant milestone for the project. Everyone involved should be very proud of the work that has been delivered to reach this point."
